PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Citric acid (CA) is an important organic weak acid, colorless crystal, odorless, soluble in water, the solution is acidic. Citric acid is an edible acid, which can enhance normal metabolism in the body, and the appropriate dose is harmless to the human body. Adding citric acid to some foods tastes good and can promote appetite.
In terms of food additives, it is mainly used in carbonated drinks, juice drinks, lactic acid drinks and other cool drinks and pickled products, and its demand is changed by the change of seasonal climate. Citric acid has the properties of chelating and regulating pH value, which can increase the performance of antioxidant, inhibit enzyme activity and prolong the shelf life of food in the processing of frozen food.

SPECIFIC APPLICATION
Citric acid is the world's largest organic acid produced by biochemical methods, citric acid and salts are one of the pillar products of fermentation industry, mainly used in the food industry, such as acid, solvent, buffer, antioxidant, deodorant, flavor enhancer, gelling-agent, toner and so on.
Candy: As a sour agent, it is easy to harmonize with fruit flavor.
Fruit canning: Maintaining or improving the flavor of fruits, increasing the acidity of certain fruits with low acidity when canning (reducing pH), weakening the heat resistance of microorganisms and inhibiting their growth.
Gel food (such as sauce, jelly): Can effectively reduce the negative charge of pectin, so that the hydrogen bond between pectin molecules and gel.
Canned processed vegetables: Citric acid is used as a pH adjustment agent, which can not only play a seasoning role, but also maintain its quality.
