Triethylene glycol can be used as a solvent for aromatic extraction, a solvent for rubber, an additive, and a rocket fuel. In addition, it has a wide range of uses in the pharmaceutical, coating, textile, printing and dyeing, food, papermaking, cosmetics, leather, photography, printing, metal processing and other industries. It is often used as a textile auxiliaries, solvent, plasticizer for rubber and resin, improver for lubricating oil viscosity, and aromatic extraction agent for reforming.
 

Application:

A colorless, odorless liquid commonly used as a desiccant in gas processing and air conditioning systems. It has high hygroscopic properties, making it effective in removing water from gas streams. TEG also finds use as a plasticizer and in the manufacture of resins and cosmetics.
