SLES dissolves readily in water, harmonizes perfectly with numerous surfactants, and maintains stability even in hard water conditions. It is biodegradable and poses minimal irritation to the skin and eyes. SLES is synthesized through the ethoxylation of dodecyl alcohol, sourced industrially from palm kernel oil or coconut oil.
